1. About Yourside
Yourside is a personal assistant web application, currently trading as a sole trader.

2. Eligibility
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Be capable of forming a legally binding contract
- Provide accurate and truthful registration information
3. Account Registration
You must register to use Yourside. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@yourside.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions & Billing

Free Trial
The Basic plan includes a 30-day free trial. You must provide valid payment details. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime via Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Contact hello@yourside.app within 14 days if you believe you were charged in error.
Price Changes
We will give at least 30 days notice before any price increase. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
5. Acceptable Use
You Must Not
- Use Yourside for any unlawful purpose
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Resell or sublicense access to the service
- Use the AI Sidekick to generate harmful or illegal content
- Circumvent usage limits or tier restrictions
Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant Yourside a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
7. AI Sidekick
- Powered by Anthropic's Claude API
- AI responses may not always be accurate — do not rely on them for legal, medical, or financial decisions without independent verification
- We are not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated content
8. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important documents.
9. Intellectual Property
Yourside and all its content, features, and software are owned by Yourside and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Yourside is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
